Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what information this website handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we run no accounts and no analytics, and we do not sell personal data.
When you continue to the free case review or send the contact form, your information goes to a separate service. Its own privacy policy applies to what you give it.
Who we are
The Chicago Car Accident Lawyer Guide is a static, informational website about car accident claims in Chicago and Cook County. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
What we collect
This site has no user accounts, no comments and no newsletter. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers. We only handle personal information when you choose to send it through a form.
Forms and the case review
The contact form and the “Continue to a free case review” button send you, or your message, to a separate case-review service. Whatever you enter there, such as your name, email, phone number, crash date and a description of what happened, is received and handled by that service under its own privacy policy and terms.
- Only share what you are comfortable sharing. Do not include confidential details or medical records in a first message.
- No relationship is created. Sending a form does not create an attorney–client relationship.
Technical data
Like any website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to deliver pages and protect the service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. Our hosting and font providers may use strictly necessary technical measures to deliver and secure the site.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. Information you submit through a form goes to the case-review service described above. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can use the guide without giving us any personal information. If you have sent details to the case-review service, contact that service to access, correct or delete them. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under privacy law.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Use the contact page.
